TRANSPARENTE BLANCHE

Apple White TransparentCharacteristics: an old variety, also known as Yellow Transparent or Papirovka, widely grown in Poland, Russia and Sweden and is sometimes referred to as the Baltic Sea apple. The tree starts to bear fruit very early (2-3 years after planting) and it bears fruit abundantly with a bennial tendency. The tree has a strong resistance to low temperatures and scabs.

Fruit: medium-sized or small, round-conical, slightly ribbed . A thin, smooth, dry, very pale green skin which turns to pale yellow with ripening is covered by a whitish coating. It is named „transparent” because it is almost luminescent and has a white flesh that is firm, crisp, very juicy, tender and has a sharp, refreshing taste.

ANANAS REINETTE

Apple Ananas ReinetteCharacteristics: a very old variety from Lithuania, popular in northern Europe, very resistant to frost and diseases, such as scab or mildew. It is a delicious dessert apple famous for its pineapple flavour with overtones of black currant, excellent sweet and sharp combination. The tree starts to bear fruit late but it produces fruit abundantly and regularly every year.

Fruit: large to very large, round-conical or conical, regular, often elongated, with small ribs. A firm, shiny, greenish-yellow skin covered by a very light pink blush and russeted dots. Flesh is cream-coloured (yellowish-white), firm, crunchy after ripening, sweet with acid taste, very tasty.

Apple James GrieveCharacteristics: an old variety from Scotland which makes a fantastic cooking apple and a delicious dessert apple too. James Grieve is exceptionally tasty, disease-resistant and a good pollenizer for other apples.The tree starts to bear fruit early, it produces fruit abundantly and every year.

Fruit: medium-sized to large, round-conical, regular. A shiny, semi-thick, smooth , greenish-yellow skin covered by a reddish-pink blush with delicate crimson smudges. Flesh is creamy, moderately firm, juicy, sweet with acid taste, very tasty.

KATY

Apple Katy

Characteristics: an early season variety orginated in Sweden,where it is known as Katya. It is a dessert apple which bears fruit early, abundantly and regularly.It is one of the easiest apple varieties to grow, very productive and trouble-free. It is also a very good pollinator for other varieties. Katy is resistant to low temperatures, therefore, it will ripen even in a poor summer.

Fruit: medium-sized, round-conical or conical, regular, often elongated, with small ribs. A greenish-yellow, wax-free, dry skin covered by a dark red, washed blush covering most of the fruit surface. Flesh is white, cream-coloured, fine-grained, juicy,  both sweet and acid, very tasty.

ANTONOVKA

Apple Antonovka Poland - DANIEL NurseryCharacteristics: a very old Russian variety, excellent for cooking. Very resistant to extreme cold. Due to relatively low ratio of sugars in the fruit, Antonovka apples are especially well-suited for apple pies and late apple wine. It starts to bear fruit quite late, it is quite productive with a bennial tendency.

Fruit: medium-sized to large, irregular shape, elongated, cylindric. A thick , green skin which turns to greenish-yellow with ripening, sometimes covered by a delicate yellowish-orange washed blush on the sunny side. Flesh is white or greenish-white, coarse-grained, crisp, acid, very aromatic.

WITOS

Apple WitosCharacteristics: a Polish autumn variety, which is very attractive due to a complete resistance to scab and other diseases and exceptionally good taste. Therefore, it is perfect for ecological gardens. The Witos tree is also resistant to frost.The tree starts to bear fruit quite late with a bennial tendency but it is very productive.

Fruit: large to very large, round. A green skin covered by a red, washed, striped blush. Flesh is white and cream-coloured, crisp, sweet with acid taste, juicy, exceptionally tasty.

DELICATES

Apple Delicates DelicacyCharacteristics: Polish variety, a good cooking and dessert apple. The tree starts to bear fruit early, it produces fruit abundantly and annually. Delicates trees are resistant to frost and mildew.

Fruit: medium-sized to large, roundish to slightly barrel-shaped. A smooth waxy greenish-yellow skin covered in ¾ by a bright red washed, striped blush. Flesh is white, fine-grained, very juicy, vinous, refreshing with pleasantly aromatic taste.

PAULARED 

Apple PaularedCharacteristics: an American variety, suitable both for eating fresh and cooking. The tree starts to bear fruit soon after planting, it is moderately productive and produces fruit mostly every year.

Fruit: medium-sized to large, round and flattened at the ends. The skin is smooth, with a dusty sheen, thin, greenish yellow to light yellow covered in 90% by a dark red, washed blush and very distinctive waxy coating. Flesh is white or cream-coloured, coarse-grained, firm which becomes soft and mealy with ripening, juicy, both sweet ant tart, aromatic, slightly reminiscent of strawberries.

NOVAMAC

Apple NovamacCharacteristics: a Canadian variety, suitable both for fresh eating and cooking. It is completely resistant to scab and therefore is ideal for ecological gardens. Novamac is also suitable for colder climates due to its tolerance to low temperatures. The tree bears fruit early, moderately and rather regularly.

Fruit: medium-sized, round, slightly flattened, regular in shape. The skin is semi-thick, shiny, greenish-yellow with a slight waxy coating covered in 50- 90 % by a dark red, washed striped blush. Flesh is white to cream-coloured, fine-grained, moderately firm with a delicate and crisp texture, juicy, acid, slightly aromatic, very tasty.

LOBO

Apple LoboCharacteristics: a Canadian variety, suitable both for fresh eating and cooking. It is resistant to frost and mildew.The tree starts to bear fruit quite early, it produces fruit moderately and annually but after a few years it has a tendency to bear fruit every other year.

Fruit: medium-sized to large, round or roundish-flattened, slightly ribbed. A semi-thick, smooth, shiny greenish-yellow skin with a delicate waxy coating is covered , to a large extent, by an intensive, dark, carmine, washed blush. Flesh is juicy, tender, soft, greenish-cream, fine-grained, acid or sweet-tart, not very aromatic, tasty.

KOSZTELA

apple-158419_1280Characteristics: a very old variety which was grown in Poland in the 16th century and was King Jan III Sobieski and his wife Marysienka’s favourite apple. It was grown in the gardens of the Palace of Wilanow and its taste has been highly appreciated by many since then. Kosztela is incredibly resistant to frost so it is ideal even for colder climates. Besides, it is very easy to grow as it is resistant to most apple diseases. The tree bears fruit annually and abundantly.

Fruit: medium-sized, light green to yellowish-green with small speckles, sometimes covered by a light blush. Flesh is very sweet, soft and tender, incredibly tasty, aromatic.

HONEYGOLD

Apple HoneygoldCharacteristics: an old variety from the USA. The tree starts to bear fruit moderately early, it is very productive and has a tendency to bear fruit every other year. Due to its incredible, honey-llike taste, a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness and to its crunchy, firm, hard flesh, we can undoubtedly call it one of the tastiest and most attractive apple varieties. What is more, Honeygold is exceptionally juicy which makes it a perfect apple for making juices.

Fruit: large to extra-large, conical or round-conical, regular. The skin is greenish-yellow, covered by a washed, striped blush. The flesh is creamy-white, hard, firm, very juicy, with a balance of sweet and tart, aromatic with a hint of honey, excetionally tasty.

Apple Golden Reinette Gold RussetCharacteristics: a very old French variety also known as English Pippin, popular in 18th and 19th centuries with a pleasant mild flavour which is ideal for apple pies. The tree starts to bear fruit soon after planting, it is very productive and resistant to scab.

Fruit: medium-sized, round-conical. They have golden yellow skin with some russeting and an orangey red striped blush on one side. Flesh is yellowish, firm, tender, quite juicy, with a balance of sweet and tart.

GREY REINETTE

Apple Grey Reinette Graue Renette Grey RussetCharacteristics: a very old French variety, which is ideal for culinary purposes. Due to its tart, vinous taste it is perfect for apple pies, drying, coleslaws, salads and sauces. The tree starts to bear fruit quite early and it is very productive but with a bennial tendency.

Fruit: large, slightly flattened. The greenish skin is russeted and sometimes it is covered by a blush. Flesh is firm, moderately juicy, tart and acid.

FRAMBOISE D’OBERLAND (MALINOVA)

Apple Framboise d'OberlandCharacteristics: a very old dessert variety which probably originates from Holland and which is known for its exceptionally good taste. The tree starts to bear fruit early, it is very productive with bennial tendency.

Fruit: medium-sized to large, most often ovoid, rarely round and flattened. A thin green skin is covered almost fully by a very intensive dark maroon blush. Flesh is white with a greenish shade, often pink right under the skin, very tender, soft, light, quite juicy, both sweet and tart, aromatic, reminiscent of raspberry, exceptionally tasty.

Apple Camspur - DANIEL NurseryOpis: amerykańska odmiana jabłoni o niezwykle atrakcyjnym ładnie wybarwionym owocu. Jest to jeden z najbardziej cenionych sportów Red Deliciousa. Drzewo rośnie słabo lub średnio silnie, tworzy liczne krótkopędy, które łatwo można uformować w małą, zgrabną koronkę. Red Boskoop is ideal for pies, cakes, salads, and other culinary purposes.

Fruit: large to very large, barrel-shaped. The skin is almost completely covered with a red blush.The flesh is juicy, crisp, it has a tart flavour with a uniquely spicy aftertaste.

WEALTHY
